Ofloxacin (400 Mg)

Oflomac 400 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract (including pneumonia), skin and soft tissues, and the reproductive organs. It contains ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, and is not effective against viral infections.

Take this tablet as prescribed by your doctor and complete the full course, even if you start feeling better before finishing it. Stopping early can allow the infection to come back and may make it harder to treat in future.

Drink plenty of water while taking this medicine and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, as fluoroquinolone antibiotics can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight.

Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor if you have epilepsy, tendon problems, kidney disease or an irregular heartbeat. Report any tendon pain or swelling, a fast or irregular heartbeat, or a severe skin reaction promptly.
