It contains ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Take it as prescribed, preferably at the same time each day. Complete the full course even if you feel better after a few doses, as stopping early can allow the infection to return or become resistant to treatment.
Drinking plenty of water, avoiding excessive sun exposure, and avoiding dairy products or antacids close to your dose, as they can reduce absorption, can help support treatment with this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of tendon problems, epilepsy, or an allergy to fluoroquinolone antibiotics. Report any tendon pain or swelling, unusual mood changes, or a skin rash promptly.
