Office 100 Dt Tablet 10 is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including urinary tract infections (UTIs), respiratory infections, stomach infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and certain sexually transmitted infections. It is a combination medicine containing cefixime and ofloxacin, and belongs to the class of cephalosporin and fluoroquinolone antibiotics.
This medicine combines cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin that stops the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall by inactivating enzymes needed to build it, with ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone that blocks bacterial DNA replication, together stopping the growth and spread of bacteria and helping the body recover faster.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; avoid crushing or chewing it. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed and complete the full course, even if you feel better.
Inform your doctor about any existing conditions or medications, particularly a history of tendon problems, epilepsy, or allergy to cephalosporins or fluoroquinolones, and seek medical advice if you experience any side effects.
