Nusar Amh 50/5/12.5 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood pressure

• Management of essential hypertension

• Prevention of cardiovascular events

• Management of hypertension uncontrolled by single medicines

• Control of blood pressure in elderly patients

• Prevention of stroke in hypertensive patients

• Reduction of heart attack risk

• Management of fluid retention related to hypertension

Follow these instructions while taking Nusar Amh 50/5/12.5 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day for best results.

• You may take it with or without food.

Nusar Amh 50/5/12.5 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Nusar Amh 50/5/12.5 MG Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This component belongs to a group of medicines called calcium channel blockers. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles in your arterial walls, causing them to widen (vasodilation). This action allows blood to flow more easily through your vessels, reducing the pressure within them.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This is a thiazide diuretic, sometimes called a "water pill". It helps your kidneys remove excess sodium and water from your body through urine. This process decreases the volume of fluid in your blood vessels, thereby lowering your blood pressure.

• Losartan (50 mg): Acts as an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents the hormone angiotensin II from narrowing your blood vessels. This allows your blood vessels to relax and widen, improving blood flow and reducing the workload on your heart.

• Store at room temperature (20°C to 25°C).

• Keep the tablets in their original packaging in a tightly closed container.

• Protect from light, heat, and moisture.

• Store out of reach of children.

• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Reduce your salt (sodium) intake by avoiding processed foods, canned soups, and salty snacks, as high sodium consumption can worsen high blood pressure (hypertension).

• Maintain a healthy weight through regular physical activity like brisk walking for 30 minutes daily, as excess weight makes your heart work harder and increases blood pressure.
