Amlodipine + Hydrochlorothiazide + Losartan is a triple combination medicine used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults who need more than one medicine to keep their blood pressure under control.
This combination is commonly used for:
• Hypertension: Lowers persistently high blood pressure through three complementary mechanisms.
• Blood pressure control in patients on multiple therapies: Simplifies treatment for patients who already require a calcium channel blocker, a diuretic, and an angiotensin receptor blocker.
• Reducing cardiovascular risk: Helps lower the long-term risk of complications linked to uncontrolled high blood pressure, such as stroke and heart disease, when used as advised by a doctor.

Amlodipine + Hydrochlorothiazide + Losartan combines three medicines that lower blood pressure through different, complementary actions.
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. It prevents calcium from entering the muscle cells of blood vessel walls, causing the vessels to relax and widen.
Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic, commonly known as a water pill. It helps the kidneys remove excess water and salt from the body through urine, which reduces the volume of fluid in the blood vessels.
Losartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which normally causes blood vessels to narrow, allowing the vessels to relax.
Together, these three medicines relax and widen blood vessels while reducing excess fluid in the body, providing more effective blood pressure control than a single medicine alone.
