Age and Dose Restrictions

• This medicine is meant for adults.

Contraindications

• This combination is contraindicated in patients with anuria (inability to produce urine), severe liver impairment, refractory hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypercalcemia and symptomatic hyperuricemia.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen and naproxen), diuretics (like furosemide and torsemide) and ACE inhibitors (including lisinopril and ramipril).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Taking more than the prescribed dose may cause a significant drop in blood pressure, dizziness, fainting, an irregular heartbeat, and disturbances in body salts such as sodium and potassium. If you suspect an overdose, seek medical attention immediately.

• If you miss a dose of Amlodipine + Hydrochlorothiazide + Losartan, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• If you experience dizziness or lightheadedness after taking this medicine, sit or lie down until you feel better.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• Amlodipine + Hydrochlorothiazide + Losartan may cause dizziness or fatigue. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you feel dizzy or tired after taking this medicine.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• This medicine is contraindicated in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy.

• Consult your doctor before using this medicine during breastfeeding.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Patients with impaired kidney function, liver disease, hypokalemia (low potassium levels in the blood), hyponatremia (low sodium levels in the blood) and hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in the blood) should use this medicine with caution. Always discuss your medical history with your doctor before starting this medication.

• Reduce your intake of sodium (salt) and try to maintain a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and low-fat dairy products.

• Try to keep active for at least 150 minutes a week. Regular exercise can help lower your blood pressure and keep it under control.

• Try to maintain a healthy body weight. Being overweight can increase your blood pressure.

• Try to reduce stress in your life as much as possible. High levels of stress can lead to temporary increases in blood pressure.
