Noxitef Tz Tablet 10

Noxitef TZ Tablet is used to treat diarrhoea and dysentery caused by bacterial and parasitic infections of the gut.

Uses of Noxitef TZ Tablet are:

• Infective Diarrhoea and Dysentery: Treats diarrhoea and dysentery caused by bacteria or parasites.
• Amoebic Infections: Treats amoebic dysentery and intestinal amoebiasis.
• Other Parasitic Infections: Treats giardiasis and trichomoniasis.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid chewing or crushing the tablet.
• Take the medicine with food for better absorption and to avoid stomach upset.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose unless your doctor advises you otherwise.
• Remember, it's important not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Noxitef Tz Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Noxitef Tz Tablet 10 contains two active components:

• Norfloxacin (400 mg): This ingredient belongs to the fluoroquinolone class of antibiotics. It manages bacterial infections by blocking certain enzymes in bacteria called DNA-gyrase and topoisomerase IV. These enzymes are crucial for bacteria to replicate their DNA and reproduce. By inhibiting these enzymes, Norfloxacin causes the bacteria to die.
• Tinidazole (600 mg): Tinidazole is an antimicrobial agent that works against anaerobic bacteria and certain parasites. It enters these organisms and undergoes a chemical reaction that produces toxic substances. These toxic substances damage the DNA of these organisms, resulting in their death.

• Store Noxitef Tz Tablet 10 in a tightly closed container.
• Keep the medicine at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Remember to use the medicine before its expiry date.

• If you take Noxitef Tz Tablet 10 for bacterial diarrhoea, ensure you stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids. This can help manage the symptoms and replace any lost fluids.
• If you have been diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection like trichomoniasis, consider adopting safe sexual practices to prevent transmission to your partner(s).
