Norflox-TZ RF Tablet is an antibiotic medication that works by interfering with the DNA replication process of bacteria, ultimately leading to their death. The active ingredient in Norflox-TZ RF Tablet, Norfloxacin, is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic effective against many bacterial infections. Tinidazole is an antiprotozoal / antibiotic medication.
Norfloxacin inhibits the activity of two enzymes, DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential for bacterial DNA replication. By inhibiting these enzymes, Norflox-TZ RF Tablet prevents the bacteria from multiplying and spreading. This ultimately helps control bacterial infection and relieves fever, pain, and inflammation symptoms. Tinidazole, on the other hand, interferes with the DNA synthesis of bacteria and protozoa, leading to their death.
Norflox-TZ RF Tablet is particularly effective against Gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Shigella, commonly associated with gastrointestinal infections. It is also effective against some Gram-positive bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus.
