Norflox TZ RF Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections, like diarrhea and dysentery. This combination helps eliminate both bacterial and parasitic infections in the gut, reducing symptoms like diarrhea, cramps, and stomach upset. The dual-action formulation includes Norfloxacin, which inhibits bacterial cell division, and Tinidazole, which targets parasites by damaging their DNA. Norfloxacin works by preventing bacterial cell division, while Tinidazole kills parasites by damaging their DNA. This tablet is commonly prescribed for urinary tract infections, diarrhoea, dysentery, and severe stomach infections.
Norflox should not be used in patients who are allergic to fluoroquinolone antibiotics or in children under 18 years of age, as it may cause joint and tendon problems. It is also not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary.
