Nicip MR Tablet is used to relieve muscle spasms and associated pain.

Here's how to take Nicip MR Tablet properly:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Don't chew or crush the tablet.

Nicip MR Tablet is taken orally.

Nicip MR Tablet comprises three active components:

• Chlorzoxazone (375 mg): Acts on specific areas of your brain and spinal cord to inhibit certain reflex actions that cause muscle spasms, leading to muscle relaxation without affecting muscle strength.
• Nimesulide (100 mg): Works by inhibiting enzymes called cyclooxygenase (COX), mainly COX-2, which reduces the production of substances called prostaglandins that mediate inflammation, pain, and fever.
• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 mg): Thought to work mainly in the central nervous system where it increases the threshold for pain and inhibits both COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, reducing prostaglandin production and hence decreasing pain and fever.

Through combined action of these components - muscle relaxation from chlorzoxazone, anti-inflammatory effect from nimesulide and analgesia from paracetamol - this medicine provides relief from painful muscle spasms.
