Texifen Spray 55Gm

Texifen Spray is a topical antifungal medication commonly used to help manage fungal infections such as athlete's foot (Tinea Pedis), jock itch (Tinea Cruris) and ringworm (Tinea Corporis). It contains Terbinafine, which belongs to a group of medicines called antifungal agents and works by stopping the growth of the fungus responsible for the infection. This spray is also effective in helping manage other fungal conditions that may arise due to excessive sweating, providing relief from itching, redness and discomfort associated with such infections. Texifen Spray is intended for external use only and should be used as directed by the doctor, avoiding contact with the eyes, mouth or deep skin wounds. 

• Terbinafine Hydrochloride (1.0% w/w): Terbinafine is a synthetic antifungal compound belonging to the allylamine class. It might interfere with the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, leading to disruption of their normal structure and function. It is used in preparations for managing fungal infections of the skin.

• Manages Fungal Skin Infections: Texifen Spray contains terbinafine, an antifungal ingredient that may interfere with ergosterol production, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This disrupts fungal cell function and helps control infections such as ringworm, jock itch and athlete’s foot.
   
• Relieves Itching and Irritation: Terbinafine might act against fungi responsible for common skin infections. By limiting fungal growth, it helps ease itching, scaling and irritation in affected areas, including the groin, feet and skin folds.
   
• Reduces Infection-Related Redness: Fungal skin infections might cause redness, irritation and scaling. Terbinafine targets the fungi responsible by disrupting their cell membranes, which may ease these symptoms as the infection improves.
   
• Manages Athlete’s Foot: Terbinafine is effective against dermatophytes that might cause athlete’s foot, particularly between the toes and on the feet. Its antifungal action might control fungal growth and relieve symptoms such as itching, redness and scaling.
   
• Addresses Jock Itch and Ringworm: Terbinafine might act against dermatophytes responsible for jock itch and ringworm. By interfering with fungal cell membrane formation, it may control the infection and reduce associated symptoms, including circular patches, scaling and itching.

• Shake well before each use.   
• Spray the contents from a distance of 5 cm on the affected areas.   
• Do not spray on open wounds.
