• Topical corticosteroids (prednisolone, dexamethasone): Concurrent use may increase the risk of delayed corneal healing and may enhance the potential for corneal adverse events, particularly following ocular surgery. Patients receiving both medicines should be monitored closely.
• Anticoagulants and antiplatelet medicines (warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel): Although systemic absorption is minimal, ophthalmic NSAIDs may increase bleeding tendencies in ocular tissues. Use cautiously in patients receiving anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy, especially around the time of surgery.
• Other topical NSAIDs (ketorolac, bromfenac): Concurrent use may increase the risk of corneal irritation, delayed healing, keratitis, corneal thinning, or epithelial breakdown.
• Other ophthalmic preparations: When multiple eye medicines are used, maintain an interval of at least 5–10 minutes between products to prevent washout and ensure adequate absorption.
