• Ensure your hands are impeccably clean before and after using the cream. 
• If applying to the affected area, avoid washing it immediately post-application. 
• Before applying the cream, cleanse the infected region and make sure it's dry. 
• Massage a layer of the cream gently onto the infected skin, and if recommended by your doctor, you can cover the area with a thin dressing.
