Nefcm Injection is an injectable iron supplement used to treat severe iron deficiency anaemia when oral iron tablets are ineffective, poorly tolerated, or when rapid iron replenishment is required.
It contains ferric carboxymaltose or iron dextran. It is given as an intravenous injection or drip by a trained healthcare professional in a clinic or hospital setting. Follow all follow-up blood tests ordered by your doctor.
Consuming an iron-rich balanced diet containing green leafy vegetables, legumes, and vitamin C sources can support long-term red blood cell health.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of asthma, eczema, rheumatoid arthritis, or active infections before receiving this injection. Tell your care team immediately if you experience dizziness, breathlessness, or hives during the infusion.
