Meftadol P Syrup is a combination paediatric medicine used to treat pain, inflammation, and high fever in infants and children. It provides prompt relief from symptoms caused by childhood infections, teething, vaccination fever, or minor sports injuries.
It contains mefenamic acid and paracetamol. Give the medicine to your child using a calibrated measuring dropper or spoon as prescribed by your child's doctor. Shake the bottle well before use. It is best given with or after food to minimise stomach upset. Do not exceed the dose or duration recommended by your child's doctor.
Ensure your child drinks plenty of fluids such as water, soups, or oral rehydration solution, and stays in a comfortable, cool environment while recovering from fever.
Inform your child's doctor if your child has asthma, kidney or liver problems, or a history of stomach ulcers. Do not give other medicines containing paracetamol or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) at the same time without consulting your child's doctor.
