Age and Dose Restrictions

• This combination may be used in adults and children, depending on the formulation and prescribed dose, as advised by the doctor.

Contraindications

• This combination is contraindicated in patients with known allergy to mefenamic acid, paracetamol/acetaminophen, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines, or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
• It is also contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment or active liver disease, severe kidney disease, active stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, a history of severe allergic reactions to pain-relieving medicines, or a history of NSAID-induced asthma, severe heart failure, or recent coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG).

Other Medications to Avoid With This Medicine

• This combination may interact with diuretics (such as furosemide), blood pressure medicines (such as amlodipine or losartan), anticoagulants (such as warfarin), corticosteroids (such as prednisolone), and other medicines containing paracetamol/acetaminophen or NSAIDs.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of this combination may cause severe nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, liver damage, dizziness, drowsiness, or confusion. Immediate medical attention may be required if these symptoms occur.
• If you forget to take this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue the regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose.

Management of Side Effects

• Most side effects are temporary, generally harmless, and resolve with time. However, if you experience severe stomach pain, black stools, allergic reactions, or worsening symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.
• Taking this medicine after food may help reduce stomach discomfort and irritation.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• This combination may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some individuals. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience these symptoms after taking this medicine.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• This combination is not recommended in pregnancy, especially during the last trimester, unless advised by your doctor.
