Maczone Plus 1.5G Injection is used to treat serious bacterial infections of the lungs, urinary tract, skin and abdomen. It is a combination antibiotic medicine.
It is often used when infections are severe or need close monitoring. It is given by a doctor or nurse, usually in a hospital or clinic, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Staying well hydrated and eating a balanced diet can support your body's recovery during treatment. Follow any advice from your care team about rest and monitoring.
Before it is given, tell your doctor if you have allergies to antibiotics, or kidney or liver problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you use. Tell your care team if you notice a skin rash, itching or swelling, as these may indicate an allergic reaction. Complete the full course as advised, even if you feel better. Follow the prescribed treatment plan, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not end treatment unless your doctor advises you to do so.
