Macsart CC 12.5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It is particularly beneficial for individuals who have not responded adequately to dual combination therapy or monotherapy, helping to lower blood pressure and prevent complications.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet as it might affect the medication's effectiveness.

Macsart CC 12.5 Tablet contains three active ingredients, each having a distinct mechanism of action:

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): This ingredient acts as a diuretic by increasing urine production, which helps remove excess salt and water from your body, thereby reducing the volume of fluid in your blood vessels and decreasing blood pressure.

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): Known as a calcium channel blocker, cilnidipine works by relaxing and widening your blood vessels, making it easier for your heart to pump blood and thereby reducing pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), which means it blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict or narrow down. By blocking this action, telmisartan decreases blood pressure.

• Store Macsart CC 12.5 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 15°C and 30°C.
