Luliford Lotion is used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, and jock itch. It helps relieve itching, redness, and irritation by stopping the growth of fungi. Regular use as prescribed by a doctor ensures effective treatment and prevents the infection from spreading.

To use Luliford lotion correctly, follow these instructions:

• Puncture the plug before use.
• Ensure that your skin is clean and dry before application.
• Apply a thin layer of Luliford lotion to the affected area once daily.

Luliford lotion contains Luliconazole (1%), which works on the body as follows:

• Disrupts Ergosterol Biosynthesis: Luliconazole acts by blocking the formation of ergosterol, a vital component of the fungal cell membrane. It does this by inhibiting an enzyme called lanosterol 14α-demethylase, which converts lanosterol into ergosterol.
• Fungal Cell Membrane Compromise: With the disruption in ergosterol biosynthesis, there's an accumulation of methylated sterol precursors and depletion of ergosterol. This compromises the integrity of the fungal cell membrane leading to its degradation.
• Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Apart from its antifungal activity, Luliconazole also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce symptoms associated with fungal infections.
