CompositionLobate-GM Neo Cream is used to treat skin conditions involving both infection and inflammation, such as infected eczema, dermatitis, and fungal skin infections including ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch. It contains clobetasol, a corticosteroid, along with neomycin, an antibiotic, and miconazole, an antifungal.
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin as prescribed by your doctor, for use on the skin only. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and nose. Continue using it for the prescribed duration, even if your skin appears to improve early, to fully clear the infection.
Keep the affected area clean and dry, and avoid tight or occlusive clothing over the treated skin, as this can increase absorption and irritation. Avoid using other skin products on the same area unless advised by your doctor.
Avoid prolonged use beyond what your doctor advises, particularly on the face or in skin folds, to reduce the risk of skin thinning. Tell your doctor about any other skin conditions, allergies, or medicines you are using. It should not be used on open wounds unless specifically prescribed. Do not use a steroid-containing combination for uncomplicated ringworm or another fungal infection unless specifically directed, because the steroid can mask or worsen infection.
