Laveta A Capsule is used to treat allergy-related cough with thick mucus, such as in allergic bronchitis or asthma. It is a combination medicine containing levocetirizine, an antihistamine, and ambroxol, a mucolytic.
This medicine helps relieve sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes while loosening phlegm and easing chest congestion. Take it with plenty of water in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Avoiding allergy triggers, keeping windows closed on high-pollen days and drinking more fluids can help thin mucus and reduce symptoms.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, and about all other medicines you take. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
