Fruselac 20/50 Tablet is used to manage fluid retention (oedema) in adults with heart failure, liver cirrhosis or kidney disease, and to help control high blood pressure, while reducing the risk of potassium loss associated with loop diuretics.
It combines furosemide (20 mg), a loop diuretic, and spironolactone (50 mg), a potassium-sparing diuretic. Take it as prescribed, ideally in the morning, under strict medical supervision.
Keeping to all monitoring appointments for kidney function, potassium, sodium and blood pressure, and following fluid and dietary guidance, supports safe treatment alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, liver disease, raised potassium levels or Addison's disease before starting. Report muscle cramps, extreme thirst, very low urine output or irregular heartbeat immediately.
