Lametec-25 DT Tablet is used for the following:

When using Lametec-25 DT Tablet, follow these steps:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• Always take it at the same time each day to ensure consistent levels in your body.

• Ensure you don't stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor.

Lametec-25 DT Tablet is taken orally.

Lametec-25 DT Tablet contains lamotrigine (25 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Modulates Sodium Channels: Lamotrigine works by altering the functioning of sodium channels in your brain. These channels play a crucial role in the transmission of electrical signals in the brain.

• Inhibits Excitatory Neurotransmitters: Specifically, lamotrigine inhibits the release of an excitatory neurotransmitter, known as glutamate.
