KT 5 Derm Cream is used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot and ringworm. It helps relieve itching, redness, scaling, and irritation caused by fungal infections.

Follow the instructions as per your pharmacist or doctor's recommendations. To ensure proper usage of KT 5 Derm cream, it is important to follow these guidelines:

• Thoroughly wash and dry the infected area of the skin.
• Take a small amount of cream and gently rub it on the affected area.
• Avoid contact between KT 5 cream with eyes, nose, ears, etc. Wash with water if the cream accidentally gets to these areas.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after the application of the cream.

• KT 5 Derm cream should be applied externally on the affected area. It is for external use only.

• KT 5 Derm cream contains clobetasol (0.5mg), gentamicin (1mg), clioquinol (10mg), ketoconazole (20mg), and tolnaftate (10mg). Clobetasol is a steroid that prevents the production of chemical messengers that make the skin red and itchy. 
• Gentamicin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by removing its ability to form essential proteins. Ketoconazole, clioquinol, and tolnaftate are antifungal medications that attack fungi differently. Ketoconazole destroys the fungal cell membrane, clioquinol attacks the fungi's DNA synthesis, and tolnaftate prevents the fungal cell wall formation.

• Store KT 5 Derm cream at room temperature below 30°C.
• Protect the medicine from heat and light.
• Keep the cream away from the reach of children.
• Do not use the cream after the expiry date has passed.

• Maintain good hygiene by regularly washing the affected area with mild soap and water.
• Keep the affected area clean and dry to prevent excessive moisture, which can promote bacterial or fungal growth.
• Avoid applying other creams or ointments on the affected area without consulting your healthcare professional.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen if necessary, as some skin conditions may be sensitive to sunlight.
• Follow any specific instructions provided by your doctor or dermatologist regarding the application and duration of using KT 5 Derm cream.
• If you have any known allergies or sensitivities, it is advisable to avoid any triggers that may worsen your skin condition.
• Stay well-hydrated by drinking an adequate amount of water daily to promote overall skin health.
• Maintain a balanced and nutritious diet that includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins to support skin health.

• Do not take any other antifungal medication while using KT 5 Derm cream.
