This stimulates an enzyme named guanylate cyclase which boosts cGMP levels, triggering vasodilation of coronary arteries and systemic veins. Consequently, vasodilation reduces preload, while coronary dilation improves blood supply to the heart muscle.
The combined effect of these mechanisms assists in lowering cardiac workload and oxygen demand while increasing oxygen supply to the heart muscle, offering relief from anginal pain.
Caution is advised while taking Korandil 5 Tablet if you are pregnant. It is best to consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
