Ketoscalp Tablet 10 is used for managing the following health conditions:

Here's how to take Ketoscalp Tablet 10 :

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

Ketoscalp Tablet 10 contains ketoconazole (200 mg) which has multiple mechanisms of action:

• Inhibition of Ergosterol Synthesis: Ketoconazole works by inhibiting an enzyme known as 14α-demethylase in fungi. This enzyme is responsible for the conversion of lanosterol into ergosterol - a vital component of fungal cell membranes.

• Disruption of Fungal Cell Membrane: By blocking ergosterol synthesis, ketoconazole disrupts the structure and function of the fungal cell membrane. This increased permeability allows leakage of cellular contents leading to cell death and halts fungal growth.
