Io Nepa Eye Drops is an ophthalmic medicine used to prevent and relieve pain and inflammation following cataract surgery. It helps reduce postoperative swelling, redness, and discomfort, promoting smooth healing of the eye after surgical intervention.
It contains nepafenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) designed for ophthalmic use. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye as directed by your doctor. Do not touch the dropper tip to your eye, fingers, or any surface to avoid contamination. Keep your eyes closed for 1 to 2 minutes after application.
Avoid rubbing your eyes after surgery, wear protective eyewear as recommended by your doctor, and keep your hands clean before instilling the drops.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of bleeding disorders, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, or prior eye surgeries. Do not wear contact lenses while using this eye drop unless specifically approved by your doctor.
