Dorzy Eye Drops are used for the following:

• Lowering increased eye pressure in individuals with open-angle glaucoma
• Managing elevated intraocular pressure in patients suffering from ocular hypertension
• Preventing further damage to the optic nerve and preserving visual function in glaucoma patients

Administer Dorzy Eye Drops as suggested below:

• Always wash your hands thoroughly before using the eye drops.
• Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
• Introduce one drop into the affected eye(s) while avoiding touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye itself, to avoid contamination.
• After instilling the drop, gently close your eyes and lightly press on the inner corner of your eye (near your nose) for about 1-2 minutes to reduce systemic absorption.
• In case you're using other topical ophthalmic medications concurrently, ensure you wait at least 10 minutes between each medication.

Dorzy Eye Drops contains two active ingredients:

• Dorzolamide (2% w/v): As a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, dorzolamide works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour, which is the clear fluid that fills the anterior chamber of the eye. By reducing the amount of this fluid, dorzolamide effectively lowers the intraocular pressure.

• Store Dorzy Eye Drops at room temperature.
• Protect the medicine from light and keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
• Keep Dorzy Eye Drops out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
• Always check the expiration date on the packaging - don't use the drops if they're past this date.

• If you've been diagnosed with glaucoma or ocular hypertension, cutting down on caffeine could help manage your condition as it can increase eye pressure.
• Regular physical exercise like walking or jogging can also help lower intraocular pressure. However, avoid exercises where your head is below your heart, as these can increase pressure in the eyes. Always consult your doctor before starting any new exercise regime.
