Hylofresh Bak Free Gel Eye Drops 10ml is used in the eyes to relieve burning, irritation and discomfort caused by dry eye syndrome and to support healing.

Uses of Hylofresh Bak Free Gel Eye Drops 10ml are:

• Dry Eye Relief: Provides temporary relief from burning and irritation caused by dry eye.
• Ocular Lubrication: Helps lubricate the eye surface in dry eye syndrome.
• Corneal Healing Support: Supports the healing of minor corneal surface injury.
• Tear Film Stability: Reduces tear evaporation and helps stabilise the tear film.

• Wash hands thoroughly before use.
• Instil the recommended amount into the affected eye as directed by your doctor.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
• Remove contact lenses before application and reinsert after 15 minutes.
• Do not use if the solution changes colour or becomes cloudy.
• If using other eye preparations, allow at least 5–10 minutes between applications.

Hylofresh Bak Free Gel Eye Drops 10ml contains the following components:

• Sodium Hyaluronate (0.18%): Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan present in ocular tissues and tear film. It has high viscoelastic and water-retentive properties, capable of binding water up to 1000 times its own weight. It stabilises the tear film, enhances corneal epithelial healing, reduces friction between the eyelid and cornea, and may exert local anti-inflammatory effects through interaction with CD44 receptors on ocular surface cells.
• Oxychloro Complex (0.005%): Oxychloro complex is a stabilised oxychlorine preservative system that helps maintain sterility of the formulation. When exposed to light on the ocular surface, it breaks down into harmless components such as sodium and chloride ions, oxygen, and water, thereby minimising preservative-related ocular irritation while protecting the solution from microbial contamination.

• Store between 2°C and 25°C.
• Protect from direct sunlight.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed.
• Discard as advised after opening.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Maintain adequate hydration to support tear production.
• Include omega-3 fatty acids in the diet to promote ocular surface health.
• Take regular breaks during prolonged screen use.
• Use humidifiers in dry environments.
• Avoid exposure to smoke, wind, or air conditioning for extended periods.
• Practise good eyelid hygiene if recommended.
