Nepawel Eye Drops 5ml

Nepawel Eye Drops 5ml are used to reduce eye pain and inflammation following cataract surgery, improving comfort during the recovery period. These drops also help reduce the risk of macular oedema, a condition characterized by swelling in the central part of the retina, which can occur after cataract surgery.

• Nepawel Eye Drops 5ml are meant for topical ophthalmic use.
• Shake well before use.
• Wash your hands before using the eye drops.
• Tilt your head backwards and gently pull down the lower eyelid until there is a small pocket. 
• Turn the bottle upside down and gently squeeze it to release drops into the eye. Let go of the lower lid and close your eyes for 30 seconds. Repeat the same for the other eye if it also needs treatment.
• If a drop misses your eye, try again. 
• Do not touch the tip of the dropper to avoid contamination. 
• If you use more than one eye drops, wait 5-10 minutes between their application. 

Nepawel Eye Drops 5ml are meant for topical ophthalmic use only.

Nepawel Eye Drops 5ml contain Nepafenac (0.1% w/v). It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts by:

• Inhibiting the production of prostaglandin in the body, which causes pain and inflammation.
• This helps reduce pain and inflammation after cataract surgery.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from sunlight.
• Keep Nepawel Eye Drops 5ml away from children.
• Use the medication within one month after opening.

• If you wear contact lenses, do not wear them after cataract surgery. Your doctor will advise you when you can use contact lenses again.
• Avoid sunlight while using these drops. 
• Minimise touching or rubbing your eyes to reduce the risk of irritation and infection while using these drops.
• Do not stop using these drops without speaking to your doctor first. 
• Schedule regular eye check-ups with your eye care specialist to monitor your eye health and discuss any concerns or potential adjustments to your treatment plan.
