Intaspas 10/250 Mg Tablet is used to relieve pain from muscle spasms and cramping, particularly abdominal and menstrual cramps linked to conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome and primary dysmenorrhoea. It contains dicyclomine, an antispasmodic, combined with paracetamol, a pain reliever.
By relaxing the smooth muscles of the stomach and intestines, dicyclomine eases spasm-related pain, while paracetamol provides additional relief from discomfort. Take this tablet as prescribed, generally with food to reduce stomach upset. Continue the course for the duration advised by your doctor for full relief.
Applying a warm compress to the abdomen, resting and staying well hydrated can help ease cramping alongside this medicine. Avoiding heavy, fatty or spicy meals during a flare of abdominal discomfort may also help.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any gastrointestinal blockage, glaucoma, liver problems, or are taking other pain medicines. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can increase the risk of liver problems from the paracetamol component.
