CompositionImol Plus Tablet is used to relieve mild to moderate pain, swelling and fever. It is a combination medicine containing ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID), paracetamol, a pain reliever and fever reducer, and caffeine, which is added to support the pain-relieving effect.
This medicine is also used to relieve pain from osteoarthritis, cervical spondylosis (neck arthritis), muscle and back pain, dental pain, headache and painful periods. Take it with or after food to reduce stomach upset, and swallow the tablet whole with water. Use it in the dose prescribed by your doctor and for the shortest time needed. It is not meant for children under 12 years of age.
Resting the painful joint or muscle, applying a warm or cold compress, and avoiding heavy physical strain can support recovery. Limiting tea, coffee and cola drinks is advisable, as this tablet already contains caffeine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have had stomach ulcers or bleeding, asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, or liver or kidney problems, and about other medicines you take. Do not take other medicines containing paracetamol or ibuprofen at the same time. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Seek medical help if you notice black stools, vomiting of blood, or yellowing of the skin or eyes. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
