Gynaset-CR Tablet is used to manage heavy menstrual bleeding, painful periods, and irregular menstrual cycles. It also helps relieve premenstrual symptoms such as mood changes, bloating, and breast tenderness, and provides relief from pelvic pain and excessive bleeding associated with endometriosis.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Ensure you take your medicine at the same time each day for optimal results.

• Take the medicine in the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor.

• Do not alter your dosage or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Gynaset-CR 10 Tablet contains norethisterone acetate (10 mg) as the active ingredient. It works in the human body in the following manner:

• Norethisterone acetate works by controlling the growth and shedding of the uterine lining (endometrium), which is important for regular menstrual cycles. It slows down the growth of the endometrium before menstruation, thus reducing the amount of menstrual bleeding.

• It also counteracts the effects of oestrogen, effectively reducing pain and cramps associated with menstruation.

• In endometriosis, where endometrial tissue grows outside the uterus, norethisterone acetate helps manage this abnormal growth.

• Store Gynaset-CR 10 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the medicine out of direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Make sure you use the tablet before its expiry date.

• Consider incorporating fibre-rich foods like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables into your diet. Fibre can help regulate oestrogen levels, which may alleviate some symptoms.
