Gudcef 200 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections.

Uses of Gudcef 200 Tablet are:

• Respiratory Infections: Treats pneumonia, bronchitis and sinusitis.
• Urinary Infections: Clears bacterial infections of the bladder and urinary system.
• Skin and ENT Infections: Treats skin, ear, tonsil and throat infections.

When taking Gudcef-200 Tablet, you should:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing, chewing, or breaking the tablet.
• Ensure that you take the medicine at evenly spaced intervals.
• Continue to take this medicine for the full prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve, before completing the course.

Gudcef-200 Tablet is taken orally.

Gudcef-200 Tablet contains cefpodoxime proxetil (200 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Inhibits Bacterial Cell Wall Formation: Cefpodoxime proxetil disrupts the formation of the bacterial cell wall. This cell wall is a protective layer essential for bacterial survival.
• Kills Bacteria: By inhibiting the formation of the cell wall, cefpodoxime proxetil effectively kills off bacteria causing the infection.

• Keep Gudcef-200 Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature of about 25°C.
• Shield it from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Make sure to keep the medicine out of reach of children.
• Always check the expiry date on the package and ensure that you use the medicine before this date.

• To support the management of urinary tract infections (UTIs), ensure to drink plenty of fluids. This can help flush bacteria out of your system and speed up recovery.
