Gudcef 200 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections in the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissues. It effectively kills bacteria and helps the body recover. This medicine treats urinary tract infections, respiratory infections like pneumonia and bronchitis, gastrointestinal infections causing diarrhea and abdominal pain, sinusitis, and gonococcal infections

When taking Gudcef-200 Tablet, you should:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing, chewing, or breaking the tablet.
• Ensure that you take the medicine at evenly spaced intervals.
• Continue to take this medicine for the full prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve, before completing the course.

Gudcef-200 Tablet contains cefpodoxime proxetil (200 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Inhibits Bacterial Cell Wall Formation: Cefpodoxime proxetil disrupts the formation of the bacterial cell wall. This cell wall is a protective layer essential for bacterial survival.
• Kills Bacteria: By inhibiting the formation of the cell wall, cefpodoxime proxetil effectively kills off bacteria causing the infection.

• Keep Gudcef-200 Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature of about 25°C.
• Shield it from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Make sure to keep the medicine out of reach of children.
