Gravitor 60 Tablet is used to improve muscle strength and nerve signal transmission in neuromuscular and digestive conditions.

Uses of Gravitor 60 Tablet are:

• Myasthenia Gravis: Helps improve muscle strength and reduce tiredness in voluntary muscles.
• Postoperative Urinary Retention: Helps restore normal bladder muscle contraction and passing of urine after surgery.
• Paralytic Ileus: Helps stimulate bowel muscle movement to resolve intestinal paralysis.

Here are some guidelines on how to take Gravitor Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, chewing, or splitting the tablet.

• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor.

• Take this medicine on an empty stomach, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.

Gravitor Tablet is taken orally.

Gravitor Tablet contains pyridostigmine (60 mg), which works in the body as follows:

• Enzyme Inhibition: Pyridostigmine temporarily stops the action of an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase. This enzyme breaks down acetylcholine, a chemical that transmits signals between nerve cells and muscle cells.

• Acetylcholine Increase: By inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, pyridostigmine effectively increases acetylcholine levels at nerve-muscle junctions. This leads to improved nerve signal transmission and muscle contraction.

• Intestinal Muscle Contraction Promotion: In the intestines, more acetylcholine means more muscle contractions, helping manage conditions such as paralytic ileus.

• Keep Gravitor Tablet in a tightly closed container at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.
