Gluconorm V 0.2/500 MG Tablet Sr 10 is used for the following:

• Improving control of blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Managing high blood sugar levels that occur after meals, known as postprandial hyperglycaemia

• As an adjunct to diet and exercise, when these alone or combined with other diabetes medicines fail to adequately control blood sugar levels

• Beneficial for patients who are not achieving adequate blood sugar control with metformin alone

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not break, crush, or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine according to the timing advised by your doctor.

• Do not take more than the recommended dose.

By inhibiting these enzymes, voglibose slows down sugar breakdown and absorption, thereby reducing a rapid rise in blood sugar after meals.
