Glucomust-PM Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults
• Controlling blood sugar when single medicines fail
• Reducing excessive glucose production by the liver
• Improving insulin sensitivity in body tissues
• Stimulating insulin release from the pancreas
• Supporting glucose regulation with diet and exercise
• Enhancing cellular response to insulin
• Lowering fasting and post-meal blood glucose levels

Follow these instructions while taking Glucomust-PM Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet as it is an extended-release formulation.
• Never stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Glucomust-PM Tablet is taken orally.

Glucomust-PM Tablet contains three active ingredients that work together to control blood sugar levels:

• Glibenclamide (5 mg): This component belongs to the sulfonylurea class that stimulates insulin secretion from the pancreas. It works by binding to specific receptors on pancreatic beta cells, which causes potassium channels to close and triggers the release of insulin into the bloodstream.
• Metformin (500 mg): As a biguanide, metformin reduces glucose production in the liver and improves how your body responds to insulin. It activates a protein called AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), which helps lower blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity in muscle tissues.
• Pioglitazone (15 mg): This thiazolidinedione works by enhancing insulin sensitivity in your body's cells. It activates specific receptors called peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPAR-γ), which regulate genes involved in glucose and fat metabolism, making your cells more responsive to insulin.

• Store Glucomust-PM Tablet in a cool, dry place.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Follow a low-carbohydrate diet with plenty of fibre-rich foods like vegetables, whole grains, and legumes to help maintain steady blood glucose (sugar) levels throughout the day.
• Engage in regular physical activity, such as brisk walking for 30 minutes daily, as exercise helps your body use insulin more effectively and lowers blood glucose levels.
