Glipy Dm Tablet 15 is used to manage type 2 diabetes, typically combining a DPP-4 inhibitor and metformin to enhance insulin release, reduce glucose production in the liver, and improve insulin sensitivity, thereby achieving comprehensive control over high blood sugar.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

Glipy Dm Tablet 15 is taken orally. 

Glipy Dm Tablet 15 contains the following components:

• Metformin (500 mg): This ingredient reduces sugar production in the liver, decreases sugar absorption in the gut, and improves insulin sensitivity, which enhances glucose uptake and utilisation by tissues like muscles.
• Dapagliflozin (10 Mg): Dapagliflozin belongs to a category called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. In simple terms, it blocks the action of a protein in the kidneys, which reabsorbs sugar back into the blood. By doing so, it helps to eliminate more sugar from the body through urine, thereby reducing the overall blood sugar levels.
• Vildagliptin (100 mg): It is a DPP-4 inhibitor which promptly and entirely inhibits DPP-4 activity. This inhibition leads to elevated fasting and postprandial levels of endogenous incretin hormones, including GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide 1) and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide).
