The Gestofit 200 Capsule is used in the treatment of:

• Endometrial hyperplasia: Gestofit 200 Capsule is used to prevent or treat endometrial hyperplasia in non-hysterectomized postmenopausal women (postmenopausal women with an intact uterus). Endometrial hyperplasia is the abnormal thickening of the lining of the uterus (endometrium) and can be a precursor to more serious conditions. Progesterone helps counteract the effects of estrogen on the uterine lining, reducing the risk of hyperplasia.
• Secondary amenorrhea: This capsule can be used to induce menstruation in cases of secondary amenorrhea by mimicking the natural hormonal changes in the body and regulating the menstrual cycle.

• Swallow the entire capsule without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

The Gestofit 200 Capsule is taken orally. 

The Gestofit 200 Capsule contain the following component:

• Progesterone (micronised) (200 mg): It is a progesterone derivative that acts by binding to progesterone receptors in the endometrium. This interaction results in the inhibition of excessive endometrial proliferation (uterus lining), making it effective for treating endometrial hyperplasia. 
• It also helps maintain a receptive endometrial environment for potential implantation and supports regulating the menstrual cycle in cases of secondary amenorrhea.

The storage instructions for the Gestofit 200 Capsule are as follows:

• Gestofit 200 Capsule should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.
