Foracort 100 Inhaler is used to relieve symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps reduce airway inflammation and relaxes airway muscles, making it easier to breathe, thereby improving symptoms like wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath in patients with obstructive lung diseases.

To use the Foracort 100 Inhaler correctly, follow these steps:

• Administer the inhalations of the medicine as advised by the doctor.

• Ensure that all inhalations are administered through the mouth.

• After using the inhaler, rinse your mouth with water without swallowing to reduce the risk of oral thrush.

• Keep track of the dose indicator on your inhaler. When it turns red, it's time to replace your inhaler.

Foracort 100 Inhaler contains two active ingredients:

• Formoterol Fumarate (6 mcg): Classified as a long-acting beta2-adrenergic receptor agonist (LABA), formoterol fumarate relaxes the muscles around your airways. This action improves breathing by widening the airways and making it easier for air to get in and out of your lungs.

• Budesonide (100 mcg): This is an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid that works directly on your airways. It decreases inflammation by inhibiting multiple inflammatory genes, reducing swelling and irritation in the lungs.

• Store your Foracort 100 Inhaler in a dry place, ideally at room temperature below 30°C.

• Avoid placing it in extreme heat, cold, or damp locations.
