BUDAMATE 100 TRANSHALER 120MDI is used for the following:

• Regular management of asthma in adults

• Long-term control of moderate to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

• Prevention of asthma symptoms and flare-ups

• Control of airway inflammation and bronchoconstriction

• Reduction of wheezing and chest tightness episodes

• Improvement of lung function in respiratory conditions

• Prevention of night-time asthma symptoms

• Long-term airway maintenance therapy

Follow these instructions while using BUDAMATE 100 TRANSHALER 120MDI:

• Remove the mouthpiece cover before use.

• Shake the inhaler well before each use.

• Breathe out fully before placing the mouthpiece in your mouth.

• Press down on the inhaler while taking a slow, deep breath.

• Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.

• Rinse your mouth with water after use to prevent fungal infections.

• Clean the mouthpiece regularly with a dry cloth.

BUDAMATE 100 TRANSHALER 120MDI is administered via inhalation.

BUDAMATE 100 TRANSHALER 120MDI contains two active ingredients:

• Formoterol Fumarate (6 mcg): This is a long-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist (LABA) that acts as a bronchodilator. It relaxes the muscles surrounding your airways, making them wider and allowing air to flow more easily into and out of your lungs, which makes breathing easier.

• Budesonide (100 mcg): This is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways. It works by acting on the cells lining your airways and blocking chemicals that cause allergic reactions and inflammation, helping to control irritation and swelling in your breathing passages.

• Store at room temperature (below 25°C).

• Protect from heat and direct light.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Avoid known asthma triggers in your environment, such as cigarette smoke, pet dander, or pollen, which can worsen respiratory inflammation and trigger breathing difficulties.

• Stay physically active with regular, moderate exercise to improve lung function and breathing capacity, but consult your doctor about appropriate activity levels for your condition.
