Fibator EZ Tablet is used to manage significantly raised cholesterol and triglyceride levels in adults, particularly where mixed dyslipidaemia requires a comprehensive approach. It helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.
It contains atorvastatin, ezetimibe, and fenofibrate, which work on different aspects of lipid metabolism. Take it with food as prescribed to reduce the risk of stomach upset, especially from the fenofibrate component.
A heart-healthy diet low in saturated fat and high in fibre, regular physical activity, and limiting alcohol all support this medicine. Grapefruit juice should be avoided throughout treatment.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney, liver, gallbladder, or muscle problems and about all other medicines you take. Report any unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness promptly. Your doctor may check liver enzymes during treatment. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
