Falcigo 120 Injection 1

Falcigo-120 Injection is used to treat severe malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum in both adults and children. This injection quickly reduces the parasite load in the blood, helping control fever and accelerating recovery in cases of serious malaria infections. It is an essential treatment for fast and effective management of severe malaria, contributing to the improvement of symptoms and overall health.

Falcigo Injection should be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. 

Falcigo Injection can be administered through intramuscular or intravenous route. 

Falcigo Tablet contains the following constituent:

• Artesunate (120 mg): It is an antimalarial that is converted into the active form dihydroartemisinin (DHA). It interacts with haem, generating free radicals that disrupt protein and nucleic acid synthesis of the plasmodium falciparum. Hence arresting the growth and further multiplication of the plasmodium falciparum. 

• Falcigo Injection should be kept out of reach for children. 
• It should be stored in the original packing at below 30°C.  
• Protect against direct sunlight. 
• Do not store it in the fridge or refrigerator or freeze it. 
• The product should not be used if you see any crystal formation or cloudy appearance. 
• Do not use the injection after the expiry date mentioned on the injection and external covering of the medicine. 

• Follow a balanced diet that includes a variety of nutrient-rich foods. Incorporate fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Consider consulting a registered dietitian for personalised dietary recommendations.
• Drink an adequate amount of water throughout the day to stay hydrated.
• Alcohol and certain drugs can interfere with the effectiveness of medications. It is generally recommended to limit or avoid alcohol consumption and stay away from illicit drugs.
