CompositionEzact MR Tablet is a combination medicine used to relieve pain, swelling, and muscle stiffness associated with painful muscle spasms and inflammatory conditions. It is commonly prescribed for acute lower back pain, neck pain, muscle strains, and joint-related discomfort.
It contains two active medicines: etoricoxib, a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory, and thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant. It is typically taken once daily with or without food. Take it exactly for the duration prescribed by your doctor, as long-term use of pain relievers should be closely monitored.
Alongside this medicine, gentle stretching, warm or cold compresses, and adequate rest can help speed up muscle recovery. Avoid sudden or strenuous movements that could worsen the muscle strain or injury.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, high blood pressure, heart disease, liver or kidney impairment, or if you are allergic to pain relievers. It is strictly not recommended for use during pregnancy, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
