Eufox 200 Tablet 10 is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary system and skin. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing ofloxacin, and belongs to a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones.

This medicine works by interfering with bacterial DNA replication, which stops bacteria from growing and spreading. It is also used to manage certain sexually transmitted infections and gastrointestinal infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food, and complete the full course even if you start to feel better.

Drink plenty of water while taking this antibiotic to support hydration.

Tell your doctor about any liver, kidney, heart or mental health problems, or a history of seizures or myasthenia gravis, and about any other medicines you are taking, before starting this medicine. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can worsen dizziness. Report any unusual muscle or tendon pain to your doctor. Eufox 200 Tablet 10 is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary system and skin in adults, and is also used for certain sexually transmitted and gastrointestinal infections.

Uses of Eufox 200 Tablet 10 are:

Respiratory and Urinary Tract Infections: Treats bacterial infections of the lungs, throat and urinary system.
Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Helps clear bacterial infections affecting the skin and soft tissues.
Other Bacterial Infections: Used to manage certain sexually transmitted infections and gastrointestinal infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.
You can take this medicine with or without food.
Taking the tablet at evenly spaced intervals, preferably at the same times each day is important.
Even if your symptoms improve, ensure you complete the full course of medication as prescribed by your doctor. Failing to do so may lead to a relapse of the infection or the development of bacterial resistance.
