Etos-P Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation.

Uses of Etos-P Tablet are:

• Arthritis: Relieves pain and swelling in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
• Gout: Relieves the pain of gout attacks.
• Acute and Dental Pain: Eases musculoskeletal pain and pain after dental procedures.

To use Etos-P Tablet appropriately, follow these steps:

• Strictly follow the dosage and timing instructions provided by your doctor for this medication.

• Do not change or exceed the prescribed dose without your doctor's approval.

• Consult your doctor before discontinuing this medication; do not stop taking it without their guidance.

• Adhere to the dietary recommendations given by your doctor.

Etos-P Tablet is taken orally.

Etos-P Tablet consists of two active ingredients:

• Etoricoxib (60 mg): This ingredient belongs to the NSAID class of medicines known as selective COX-2 inhibitors. It manages inflammation and pain by blocking an enzyme called COX-2 in your body. This enzyme is responsible for producing substances called prostaglandins which cause inflammation and pain.

• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 mg): This component works as an analgesic and antipyretic. It is thought to manage pain by increasing your body's threshold for pain. Additionally, it reduces fever by acting on the heat-regulating centre of your brain.

The combination of these two components offers a more effective control of pain and inflammation at lower doses compared to when either medicine is used alone.

• Keep your Etos-P Tablet in a dry place where the temperature is below 30°C.

• Don't expose the medicine to direct sunlight or moisture.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Check and make sure to use the Etos-P Tablet before its expiry date.

• If you're managing conditions like osteoarthritis or gout with Etos-P Tablet, try to maintain a healthy weight. Excess weight can put strain on your joints causing more pain.

• Incorporate omega-3 fatty acids into your diet. Foods like fish, walnuts, and flaxseeds are rich in omega-3s and can help reduce inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis and similar conditions.
