Epidosin Injection is used to relieve painful periods and manage pain and spasms after surgery. It works by relaxing smooth muscles, making it effective for gastrointestinal spasms, biliary colic, and urinary tract spasms, including those caused by kidney stones. Epidosin Injection contains a single active ingredient Valethamate (8mg). Here's how it works:

• Anticholinergic Action: Valethamate blocks the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contractions. By doing this, it helps relax certain muscles in your body.

• Reduction in Pain and Spasms: Because of its ability to block acetylcholine's action, valethamate can reduce pain and spasms associated with various conditions impacting smooth muscles in areas like the cervix and intestine.
