Enzoheal D Tablet is used to relieve pain, swelling and inflammation in arthritis, injuries and after surgery or dental procedures. It is a combination medicine containing diclofenac (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine, NSAID), trypsin-chymotrypsin and bromelain (protein-digesting enzymes) and rutoside (a plant flavonoid).
This medicine is used for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, back pain, muscle pain, sprains and toothache. Diclofenac relieves pain and inflammation, while the enzymes and rutoside may help reduce swelling. Take it with food, swallowed whole, in the dose prescribed by your doctor and for the shortest time needed.
Resting and raising the injured area, applying a cold compress for fresh swelling, and gentle movement once your doctor agrees can support healing.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have had stomach ulcers or bleeding, heart disease or a stroke, high blood pressure, asthma, a bleeding disorder, an allergy to pineapple, or liver or kidney disease, and about other medicines you take, especially blood thinners. It is not recommended for children under 12, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek medical help if you notice black stools, vomiting of blood, chest pain or unusual bruising. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
