Ecosprin-325 Tablet is used for alleviating mild to moderate pain caused by headaches, toothaches, muscle aches, menstrual cramps, arthritis, and other joint pain. It is also used for managing fever associated with conditions such as influenza. Crucially, it assists in the prevention of heart attacks, strokes, and blood clots in those at high-risk.

Here's how you should take Ecosprin-325 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Avoid crushing, chewing or breaking it.

• Follow your doctor's advice strictly regarding dosage and duration. Important: Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Discontinue use only after speaking to your doctor.

Ecosprin-325 Tablet is taken orally.

Ecosprin-325 Tablet contains aspirin (325 mg) that acts on the body through the following mechanisms:

• Inhibits Prostaglandin Production: Aspirin works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins. These are chemicals in your body that promote inflammation, pain, and fever. By blocking an enzyme called cyclooxygenase (COX), aspirin effectively reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins, which leads to decreased inflammation, pain, and fever.

• Prevents Platelet Aggregation: Aspirin also inhibits the clumping together of platelets in the blood. It does this by irreversibly blocking an enzyme on platelets called cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1). This action prevents the formation of blood clots, which in turn aids in the prevention of heart attacks and strokes.
