Donamem Forte Tablet is used for the following:

• Treatment of moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease

• Management of cognitive decline in Alzheimer's

• Improvement of memory function in dementia patients

• Enhancement of learning ability in Alzheimer's disease

• Slowing the progression of Alzheimer's symptoms

• Support for daily functioning in dementia patients

• Protection of nerve cells from damage

• Regulation of brain chemical messengers

• Balancing of neurotransmitters in brain disorders

Follow these instructions while taking Donamem Forte Tablet:

• Take this tablet orally with a full glass of water.

• You may take it with or without food, preferably before bedtime.

• Swallow the tablet whole without crushing, breaking or chewing it.

• Take this medicine regularly at the same time each day for best results.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

• If you have difficulty swallowing, consult your doctor for alternatives.

Oral

Donamem Forte Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Donepezil (10 mg): This component works as a cholinesterase inhibitor, preventing the breakdown of acetylcholine in the brain. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter (chemical messenger) involved in memory and learning processes.

• Memantine (10 mg): Acts as an NMDA receptor antagonist that regulates glutamate activity in the brain. Glutamate is another neurotransmitter that, when present in excess, can overstimulate nerve cells and cause damage. Memantine helps protect brain cells from this harmful overstimulation.

• Store Donamem Forte Tablet at room temperature.

• Keep the tablets in a dry place, protected from light and moisture.

• Do not refrigerate or freeze the medicine.

• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date before use and discard if expired.

• Brain-stimulating activities: Engage in puzzles, reading, or memory games daily to complement the effects of Donamem Forte Tablet in managing Alzheimer's symptoms and supporting cognitive function.

• Balanced diet: Include foods rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids (like fish, nuts, and leafy greens) which may help support brain health alongside your Alzheimer's management.
