Diprovate Plus Lotion is used to manage inflammatory skin diseases such as eczema, contact dermatitis and psoriasis. It is a combination medicine that contains betamethasone, a corticosteroid, and zinc, and is intended for external use only.
Clean your hands before use, then gently rub a thin layer of the lotion onto the affected areas of skin. Use it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Avoiding known skin irritants and keeping the treated area clean can help the skin heal alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any history of diabetes, skin infections, liver disease, Cushing's syndrome, hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis suppression, poor blood circulation or a weakened immune system before you use this lotion. Do not stop using it unless your doctor advises you to do so.
