Zydip-C Lotion is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, jock itch and athlete's foot, particularly when there is associated inflammation. It helps clear the underlying fungal infection while easing the redness, itching and irritation that come with it.
It contains clotrimazole, an antifungal medicine, combined with beclometasone, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed, avoiding broken or highly sensitive skin. Continue using it for the full course advised by your doctor, even if the skin appears better, to help prevent the infection returning.
Keep the affected area clean and dry, and wear loose, breathable cotton clothing to reduce moisture and friction. This supports healing and lowers the chance of the infection spreading to other areas or returning after treatment.
Before using this lotion, tell your doctor about any skin conditions, allergies or other medicines you are using on the skin. Stop using it and seek medical advice if you notice burning, worsening irritation or signs of an allergic reaction such as swelling or rash.
